Profractional Patient Care Instructions
Pre-Treatment Instructions
Stop using retinols or active skincare at least 3 days prior to treatment.
Avoid sun exposure at least 2 weeks prior to treatment. Any sun exposure will result in a delay of treatment.
Post care instructions
Use the skincare products provided to you as instructed.
Use a cold compress wrapped in a soft cloth if needed, for 10-15 minutes each hour for 4 hours.
Showers are permitted, but prolonged bathing is not advised. Gently pat dry with a soft cloth.
Do not rub with a towel or washcloth because the area is extremely delicate while healing.
Keep the area hydrated with any moisturizer that does not contain Alpha-Hydroxy acids.
If any crusting occurs, apply antibiotic cream.
It is recommended only new makeup is used to reduce the possibility of infections.
Use a chemical free sunscreen of SPF 25 or higher at all times.
Things to avoid
Avoid any trauma to the skin.
Avoid picking or “popping” any blisters on the treated skin to achieve your best results.
Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for 1 month and through the course of the treatment to reduce the chance of dark or light spots.
Avoid tweezing, waxing, bleaching or chemical peels during the course of treatments.
Do not use any irritants such as Retin-A, Benzoyl Peroxide or Astringents.
Avoid strenuous exercise and massage.
Post Treatment Symptoms
You will experience redness for at least 3 days after treatment. You could experience bruising around the eyes for up to 7 days after treatment, if the eye area was treated.
