Lash Lift & Tint Patient Care Instructions
Pre-Treatment Instructions
Do not apply lash growth serum 48 hours prior to your appointment.
Do not wear mascara or eye makeup the day of your appointment.
Do not use any oily makeup remover the day before or day of your appointment. This can cause a barrier and affect the outcome of your lash lift.
If you have a spray tan, ensure there is no residual product on your lashes.
Remove contact lenses before your lash lift appointment. Bring glasses with you.
Avoid that second cup of caffeine or energy drink prior to your appointment. It is important that your eyes remain calm during your appointment.
Post Care Instructions.
Brush lashes with a clean mascara wand daily. Gently roll the brush over the tips of the lashes with eyes closed to detangle. Open eyes and adjust lashes with a brush.
Growth Serum is okay to use with your lifted natural lashes. However, you may see faster turn-over of your natural lashes and you may therefore want to return sooner for a follow-up lash lift.
Things to avoid
Avoid applying water, steam or any product for 24 hours.
Avoid sleeping on your face or stomach to keep your lashes form getting damaged.
Post-treatment symptoms
If you're experiencing an allergic reaction after the lash lift, you might notice:
Eye Redness: Your eyes may look more red than usual which doesnβt go away for a while.
Swelling: The skin around your eyes might puff up and feel tighter and swollen.
Dry or Watery Eyes: You might find your eyes are unusually dry, making them feel scratchy, or extra watery. It's feels like a constant irritation that blinking doesn't relieve.
Itching: There's an urge to scratch around your eye area. It can be similar to the itchiness you feel when an eyelash falls into your eye.
Blisters: In more severe cases, you might notice small blisters around the eyelid.
