Our Office Policies
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a retained deposit if one was collected. If a client has repeated cancellations, we reserve the right to require a deposit in order to schedule future appointments. Some services require a deposit, which will be collected at the time of scheduling. If a deposit has been taken and you no-show or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, we will retain the deposit. We welcome service animals in accordance with ADA regulations; however, non-service animals are not permitted on the premises to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Service animals must wear their appropriate attire while in our facility. Failure to comply with this policy may result in you or your pet being escorted from the premises.
All makeup and beauty product sales are final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted.
Skincare products may be exchanged or returned for product credit within 14 days of purchase, provided they are at least 75% full. Proof of purchase may be required for all returns and exchanges.

- You may experience a headache, which is common, you can take Tylenol for pain relief.

Your Next Appointment
- We recommend you wait the full 2 weeks before doing any touch-ups. Touch-ups are only treatable within the first 2 to 3 weeks.
- Recommended treatment frequency is every 3 to 4 months for optimal results.
- Results can last approximately 3 months at first. However, if you maintain your treatment appointments with the recommended frequency, the duration of results may last longer than 4 months.

- Avoid touching the treated area and making any exaggerated facial expressions for 12 hours after treatment.
- Avoid deep facial massages for 2-3 weeks after treatment.
- Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense sunshine, extreme heat (sauna, sun tanning) or extreme cold.
- Avoid any non-urgent dental procedures and dental cleanings for 2 weeks after injections.
- No vaccine administration for 2 weeks following filler injections.
Post-Treatment Symptoms
- Bruising, slight bleeding, redness, swelling, tenderness and/or an itching sensation in the treated area which goes away after a few days.
- Lip Filler – Swelling may last about 1 week, and lips can look somewhat uneven during this time. This means that the result immediately after treatment should not be looked upon as the final result.
- If you have a history of cold sores, there is a risk that the needle punctures could contribute to a breakout. Discuss with us prescribing an antiviral to prevent breakouts.
Your Next Appointment
- Please return to the clinic at your 2 to 3-week mark for your follow-up appointment and follow-up photos.
When to Call
- Report any sharp shooting pain, changes in skin color to an area that can look pale (blood flow not getting through), any pimple-like lesions in the treated area(s), or changes in vision. Report any other worsening/unusual symptoms.

Things to Avoid
- Avoid lying down either in a prone or side position within 4 hours of the procedure to decrease the possibility of moving the threads. We recommend that you sleep in a supine position for the next 3 to 5 days to avoid moving the threads.
- Avoid aggressive or prolonged chewing, wide yawns, and big smiles for up to 1 month.
- Avoid headstands, yoga, strenuous workouts, and exaggerated facial expressions for about 2 to 3 weeks (avoid dental treatments during this time if possible).
- Avoid drinking or smoking for 1 to 2 weeks to prevent possible infection. Smoking and drinking can slow down the healing process
- Avoid applying makeup to the injection sites for about 1 week.
- Avoid deep facial massages for 2 months, but laser treatments may be done after 1 month from the thread lift and 6 months for smoothing/collagen.
Post-Treatment Symptoms
- Some swelling, bruising, puckering/dimpling of the tissue, discomfort, tightness, limited range of motion of the treated area(s). These symptoms can last up to 2 to 3 weeks.
- You may experience sensitivity/nerve sensations for up to 6 to 8 weeks after treatment.

Skin Rejuvenation
Pre-Treatment Instructions
- If you are prone to cold sores, be sure to let us know so that you may begin taking an antiviral prescription a day prior to treatment.
- Stop using retinoids or skincare with active ingredients at least 3 days prior to treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
Post-Treatment Instructions
- Clean: With clean hands, use a gentle cleanser with tepid water to cleanse your face twice daily.
- Hydrate: Following your treatment, your skin may feel drier than normal. Use the skincare products given to you, and use as instructed.
- Protect: After 2 days, use a chemical-free sun protection everyday, under makeup.
- Makeup: Makeup may be resumed 4 days post treatment. Clean all makeup brushes and applicators prior to use on treated skin.
Things to Avoid
- Avoid retinol and Retin-A products for 5 days after treatment.
- Do not expose your skin to the sun in the days leading up to your treatment.
- DO NOT use any unapproved skincare products in the first 4 days.
- NO tanning beds or sun exposure for at least 14 days.
- NO swimming and saunas for at least 4 days post-treatment.
- NO exercising or strenuous activity for the first 4 days post-treatment.
Post-Treatment Symptoms
- Immediately after treatment, you will look and feel as though you have a moderate to severe sunburn and your skin will feel warm, stingy and tighter than usual. This is normal and will subside after 1 to 2 hours and will typically recover within the same day or 24 hours. You will note decreased generalized redness after 24 hours, with an appearance of “road rash” abrasions in minimal areas or spots.
- Your practitioner will provide post-procedure skin care after the procedure to help soothe, calm and protect the skin. Continue usage as directed.
Your Next Appointment
- Repeat treatment can be done after 6 weeks from prior treatment.

- If you have a fever over 100.4°F (38°C), nausea, hives, yellow or green discharge.
Pre-Treatment Instructions
- Stop using retinoids or active ingredients at least 3 days prior to treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment. Any sun exposure will result in a delay of treatment.
Post-Treatment Instructions
- Use the skincare products provided to you as instructed.
- Use a cold compress wrapped in a soft cloth if needed, for 10 to 15 minutes each hour for 4 hours.
- Showers are permitted, but prolonged bathing is not advised. Gently pat dry with a soft cloth.
- Do not rub with a towel or washcloth because the area is extremely delicate while healing.
- If any crusting occurs, apply antibiotic cream.
- Avoid wearing makeup until healed, typically 1 week.
- Use skincare provided by your provider as directed.
- Use a chemical-free sunscreen of SPF 25 or higher at all times.
Things to Avoid
- Avoid any trauma to the skin.
- Avoid picking or popping any blisters on the treated skin to achieve your best results.
- Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for 1 month and throughout the course of the treatment to reduce the chance of dark or light spots.
- Avoid tweezing, waxing, bleaching or chemical peels during the course of treatment.
- Do not use any irritants such as Retin-A, benzoyl peroxide or astringents.

Post-Treatment Symptoms
- You will experience redness for at least 3 days or longer depending on the treatment performed. You could experience bruising around the eyes if the eye area was treated.

- Makeup may be used after the post-treatment swelling has subsided, unless there is epidermal bleeding. We recommend using only new makeup and applicators to reduce the possibility of infection.
- Keep the area moisturized—any moisturizer without alpha-hydroxy acids will work.
- You may shower directly after the procedure in tepid water. The treated area may be washed gently with a mild soap. Skin should be patted dry and not rubbed.
Things to Avoid
- Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for 1 month and throughout the course of the treatment to reduce the chance of pigment change. Use sunscreen SPF 30 or higher at all times throughout treatment when going outside.
- Avoid strenuous activity or exercising for 2 to 5 days after treatment.
- Avoid hot tubs, hot showers, or saunas for 2 to 5 days after treatment.
- Avoid picking or scratching the treated skin to achieve your best results.
- Avoid tweezing, waxing, bleaching or laser services during the course of the treatment.

- Avoid exfoliating the skin until all peeling is complete.

- Apply moisturizer twice a day while redness is present.
- Apply makeup gently and remove with a soft cloth and soapy water.
- Discomfort may be relieved by ice packs and acetaminophen.
Things to Avoid
- Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks after treatment. A total sunblock, not a sunscreen, should be applied if it is impossible to comply. If further treatment is needed, a commitment to stay out of the sun is necessary. Sun exposure may cause certain complications (possibility of blistering and/or hyperpigmentation).
- No rubbing and/or scratching the treated area.
- No swimming or using hot tubs/saunas while redness is present or for at least 24 to 48 hours.
- Avoid exfoliating the area for 24 to 48 hours after treatment.
Post-Treatment Symptoms
- If crusting occurs, do not shave or pick the area. Apply polysporin or aquaphor to the area 2 times per day. Keep the area hydrated and let the crusting fall off on its own.

- For laser hair removal, a series of 8 to 12 treatments is recommended for best results. Treatments can be scheduled 4 to 5 weeks apart depending on the area.

- Avoid exercise or strenuous activity for 24 hours.
- Avoid touching or manipulating the area for 8 hours after your treatment.
- Avoid washing your hair for at least 24 hours.
- Do not use any topical scalp preparations and no hair dye for 3 days.
- Avoid hair products for 6 hours (gels, sprays).
- Avoid using NSAIDS like ibuprofen, naproxen, and aspirin for 24 hours. Tylenol is fine to use.
- Do not put ice on the scalp.
Post-Treatment Symptoms
- It is normal to experience bruising, redness, itching, swelling and soreness for 2 to 5 days after your procedure.

Hormone & Wellness

- No strenuous exercise/activity of lower extremity for the first 3 days for women, 7 days for men. Walking is fine.
- No bathing or hot tubs for the first 3 days for women, 7 days for men. Showers are fine.
Post-Treatment Symptoms
- Tenderness in the treated area that can last up to 1 week.
- A small amount of bleeding is normal. If it has saturated the dressing, please contact us.
- It may be 7 to 10 days before you feel the effects of the treatments.
Your Next Appointment
- You will need follow up-lab work after the first insertion. These are done at 4 to 6 weeks after insertion. You will need an appointment for this, however, if you would like to go through your insurance, a lab order can be given to you at the time of your insertion appointment.
When to Call
- If you notice signs and symptoms of a fever, increasing pain, worsening swelling, redness, or drainage.
Before Starting Treatment
- Eat a balanced meal the day of your injection and stay well hydrated.
- Avoid heavy, greasy, or very large meals prior to your first dose.

- Mild side effects such as nausea, bloating, constipation, or fatigue may occur and often improve as your body adjusts.
- Avoid alcohol if you are experiencing nausea or stomach upset.
Ongoing Care & Tips
- Take medications exactly as prescribed and do not adjust your dose without guidance.
- Stay consistent with follow-up visits and check-ins.
- Contact your provider if you experience severe nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dizziness, or any concerning symptoms.
- Weight loss results vary and work best when combined with healthy nutrition and lifestyle habits.
Before Treatment

Beauty
Pre-Treatment Instructions
- Do not apply lash growth serum for 48 hours prior to your appointment.
- Do not wear mascara or eye makeup the day of your appointment.
- Do not use any oily makeup remover the day before or day of your appointment. This can cause a barrier and affect the outcome of your lash lift.
- If you have a spray tan, ensure there is no residual product on your lashes.
- Remove contact lenses before your lash lift appointment. Bring glasses with you.
- Avoid that second cup of coffee or energy drink prior to treatment. It is important that your eyes remain calm during your appointment.
Post-Care Instructions
- Brush lashes with a clean mascara wand daily. Gently roll the brush over the tips of the lashes with eyes closed to detangle. Open eyes and adjust lashes with a brush.
- Growth serum is okay to use with your lifted natural lashes. However, you may see faster turn-over of your natural lashes and you may therefore want to return sooner for a follow-up lash lift.
Post-Treatment Symptoms
If you’re experiencing an allergic reaction after the lash lift, you might notice:
- Eye Redness: Your eyes may look more red than usual which doesn’t go away for a while.
- Swelling: The skin around your eyes might puff up and feel tighter and swollen.
- Dry or Watery Eyes: You might find your eyes are unusually dry, making them feel scratchy, or extra watery. It feels like a constant irritation that blinking doesn’t relieve.
- Itching: There’s an urge to scratch around your eye area. It can be similar to the itchiness you feel when an eyelash falls into your eye.
- Blisters: In more severe cases, you might notice small blisters around the eyelid.
Things to Avoid
- Avoid applying water, steam or any product for 24 hours.
- Avoid sleeping on your face or stomach to keep your lashes from getting damaged.

- We recommend you return for your next treatment in 6 to 8 weeks.
Skincare Procedures
Pre-Treatment Instructions
- Keep the wound dry and covered for 48-72 hours.
- Showering and bathing will depend on procedure and may be done if authorized at time of procedure.
- On day three, gently cleanse the area with hydrogen with peroxide and apply a small amount of topical antibiotic ointment such as Polysporin or Bacitracin.
Things to Avoid
- Avoid Neosporin as many people become allergic to it.
